At Samson, we proudly stand behind every e-bike we make. Our primary concern is your safety and satisfaction at owning the most enjoyable, reliable ebike on the market. That’s why we back every Samson eBike with a one-year, limited warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects.
Let’s get into a few specifics of the warranty. The Samson warranty only applies to the original owner and will not cover damages to the bike if re-sold to a separate entity.
Defective Parts Replacement
This warranty only addresses the replacement of defective parts at the sole discretion of Samson eBikes. This warranty does not cover any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, acts of God, accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, wear and tear, or installation of third-party parts/accessories not originally intended or compatible with this Samson eBike model.
In addition, damage caused by basic neglect such as rider error, water damage, extreme or stunt riding, or lack of proper follow-up maintenance will not be covered. In other words, proper maintenance, care and usage of your Samson eBike is your responsibility.
If a component is deemed to be defective or damaged without user error, we will gladly issue a replacement part. Proof of purchase will be required with any warranty request. Before making a warranty claim, please contact our Technical Support team at firstname.lastname@example.org as perhaps we can fix a basic problem over the phone.
If not, valid warranty claims will be processed within one year of initial purchase. First, please send a photo or short video documenting the damaged part to email@example.com. The shipping cost to return a damaged part is the burden of the bike owner. If the part cannot be fixed, it will be replaced.
Replacing Parts Damaged in Shipping
We will replace any part(s) deemed to have been damaged during shipping. However, shipping damage must be reported to Samson eBikes within 30 days from receipt of the product.
Once you receive your Samson eBike, we suggest you immediately open the container and inspect each individual part for damage. Again, no claims for replacement of damaged parts due to shipping error will be acknowledge beyond 30 days of your acceptance of the bike.
Take pictures of any damage that is found. Keep all packaging and paperwork until the inspection process is complete. Whenever possible, report damage claims within 10 days of delivery to the Samson eBike Technical Support team at: 1-877-972-6766 (Monday-
Any damaged part that resulted from shipping will be replaced if it cannot be adequately repaired.
It should also be noted, that Samson eBikes will not cover any damage that may occur during shipping if the owner sets up their own shipping option different from what Samson recommends or if the bike is shipped using a freight forwarder or similar service.
Damaged parts that comply with this warranty will only be shipped within the United States. If you purchased a Samson eBike and ultimately had the bike shipped to another country, replacement parts will only be sent to an address within the U.S. It’s then up to you forward the replacement parts outside the States.
